Overview

Use the TCEQ GCD Viewer to determine whether a property is located in a Groundwater Conservation District (GCD).

How to use the TCEQ GCD Viewer

  1. Click the link below to open the TCEQ GCD Viewer page.
  2. Click the GCD Viewer button to launch the interactive map.
  3. Type the property address into the address search box and select the result.
  4. A Select feature panel will appear showing 2 results — the geocoded address and any GCD the property falls within.
  5. If a Texas Groundwater Conservation Districts entry appears, the property is in a GCD — the district name will be listed there.
  6. If no Texas Groundwater Conservation Districts entry appears, the property is not in a GCD.
