Managing your payment methods
Save the cards you use for Sellers Shield, choose a default, and remove cards you no longer need.
You only need a card on file to subscribe to Premium or buy protection for a seller. Both are optional.
Find your payment methods
Click the Settings icon (the gear) in the left menu, then open the Billing tab. Your cards are listed under Payment Methods.
If you haven’t added a card yet, you’ll see No cards on file.
Add a card
- On the Billing tab, click Add card.
- Enter your card details.
- To make it your default card, check Make this my default card.
- Click Save card.
Saving a card doesn’t charge it. Under Use this card for, you can also use the card to subscribe to Premium or turn on automatic protection.
Change your default card
Your default card is used for all future charges, including Premium and automatic protection. To switch, click Make default next to another card.
Remove a card
Click the ✕ next to the card, then click Remove card.
If you remove your default card, Premium and automatic protection move to another saved card. The message tells you which one.
You can’t remove your only card while it’s paying for Premium or automatic protection. Add another card first.
